Any stir-fried noodle dish is elevated to the next level with handmade noodles. The time and effort to make these noodles is definitely worth it! Note: this dough will seem very dry and crumbly at first — but just keep kneading it, and it will turn into a soft, stretchy dough.
Recipe
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tsp salt
- Combine all ingredients, and knead until a soft dough forms.
- Wrap dough in plastic wrap, and let rest at room temperature for about an hour.
- Roll dough out to desired thickness and cut to desired width. Let noodles sit at room temperature to dry slightly, about 15 minutes.
- Boil noodles for 4-5 minutes, then drain.
