Handmade Noodles

Any stir-fried noodle dish is elevated to the next level with handmade noodles. The time and effort to make these noodles is definitely worth it! Note: this dough will seem very dry and crumbly at first — but just keep kneading it, and it will turn into a soft, stretchy dough.

Recipe

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tsp salt

  1. Combine all ingredients, and knead until a soft dough forms.
  2. Wrap dough in plastic wrap, and let rest at room temperature for about an hour.
  3. Roll dough out to desired thickness and cut to desired width. Let noodles sit at room temperature to dry slightly, about 15 minutes.
  4. Boil noodles for 4-5 minutes, then drain.
